Woman’s body left in front of vacant West Side house

The body of a woman with multiple wounds was left in front of an abandoned house Wednesday afternoon on the West Side. A woman’s body, suffering from several gunshot wounds, was discovered on the West Side on Wednesday afternoon.

Approximately at 2:00 p.m., a witness in the 2400 block of San Luis Street reported seeing a body and calling authorities, according to San Antonio Police Department spokesman Officer Ricardo Guzman.

Guzman said the woman, who was probably in her late teens or early to mid-20s, has not been identified. The detectives were unable to determine if the injuries she sustained were caused by a firearm or a knife.

The identification of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding her death are currently being investigated by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

There was no apparent attempt to conceal her body, which was left in the driveway, according to Guzman.
