Superfans Marcus Mumford and Brandi Carlile joined Mitchell for her first Newport show in two decades this weekend.

Performing her first full-length live set in more than 20 years, folk icon Joni Mitchell wowed the crowd at the Newport Folk Festival on Sunday (July 24).

Wynonna, Lucius, Brandi Carlile, and Marcus Mumford were among the many artists who lent their support to Mitchell, as were Blake Mills, Taylor Goldsmith, and others.

Singing in honor of Mitchell were Herbie Hancock (with Sara Bareilles and Leon Bridges) and John Legend (with Yola and Herbie Hancock).

He played four songs at the concert, including "Graceland," "The Boxer," and "American Tune" (with Rhiannon Giddens) plus "The Sound of Silence."
