Crossover: Ronaldo backed cricket NFT startup to raise $100 million.

A cricket NFT platform is reportedly raising about $100 million in a new funding round with backers including football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fans can buy, trade and sell digitally backed cricket collectibles on FanCraze.

The start up Blockchain and the renowned venture capital firms Insight Partners and US-based B Capital Group are reportedly leading the round.

The fundraising platform for the cricket game has also attracted South Korea’s Mirae Asset Financial Group.

Earlier, FanCraze had raised $17.4 million in a seed funding round led by Tiger Global Management. Other major participation came from Coatue, Sequoia Capital India and Dapper Labs.

FanCarze officially partnered with the official governing body of cricket, and has been renamed to International Cricket. Council.

Earlier, an NFT startup co-founded by the NFL star Tom Brady called Autograph raised $170 million in Series B funding.
