It seems that players across the country are taking notice, as tomorrow's Mega Millions jackpot has been raised to an estimated $810 million, with a cash value of $470.1 million.

This would be Mega Millions' third-largest jackpot prize ever if won. There was a $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot on October 23, 2018. South Carolina sold the winning ticket.

There were 3,428,412 winning tickets in the July 22, 2022, Mega Millions drawing, and four of those tickets in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia had second-tier prizes.

For Delaware, New Jersey, and New York ticket holders, a Megaplier increased their prize to $3 million. A total of 105 winners received prizes of $10,000 or more at the third level.

Lottery prizes have been won by California, New York, Minnesota and Tennessee in 2022 so far.

The Mega Millions jackpot starts at $20 million and grows based on game sales and interest rates. There is a 1 in 303 million chance of winning the jackpot.

The cost of a Mega Millions ticket is $2. For an additional $1 players can multiply non-jackpot prizes with the Megaplier. The drawings are held at 11 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesdays and Fridays
