There was a disagreement between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Whoopi Goldberg on the topic of freedom of choice on the former "The View" co-hosts.

"The View" host Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck sparred over abortion on Wednesday.

Goldberg argues that women have a right to make their own decisions when it comes to giving birth, which prompted Hasselbeck to use a prop to demonstrate her point.

In life, God has a strategy and a goal in mind. I brought this towel because I believe that innocent people should not be put to death.

"I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong," reads a white hand towel produced by Hasselbeck.

A picture of Hasselbeck holding her prop is posted to Twitter with the caption "People literally threw in the towel during her return to The View.

As Hasselbeck pointed out during the abortion discussion, "In God's plan, lives aren't limited by conception or birth circumstances". "However, there are other options available."

"Women who are unable to care for their newborn can receive free assistance from a plethora of organizations."

Goldberg later joked that Hasselbeck was her first conservative conversation partner, to which Hasselbeck replied, "I was your first?".

"With one hand, hold your problem, and the other, the hand of your friend. The wrong way to talk about difficult issues is being taught to our children if we as a society cannot do that "she asserted.
