NBC's Law & Order and Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas star Paul Sorvino died today from natural causes after struggling with health issues for some years. He was 83 years old. 

For his wife Dee Dee Sorvino, Sorvino's publicist Roger Neal made the announcement of his death.

Dee Dee Sorvino claims that her heart has been broken by the loss of her son. Paul Sorvino, one of the greatest actors of all time, will never be replaced.

A few of his best-known works include Goodfellas and Nixon, as well as films such as Dick Tracy and The Rocketeer. Other than that,

The Panic in Needle Park (1971) featured her in a leading role opposite Al Pacino, who at the time was making his feature film debut as a leading man.

That Championship Season, Jason Miller's 1972 Broadway play, was nominated for a Tony Award. Actors Bruce Dern, Stacy Keach and Robert Mitchum starred in the film version, which was released in 1982.
