were engaged in efforts to challenge the outcome of the 2020 election.

Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House assistant, stated in court on June 28 that Trump had instructed Mark Meadows, the committee’s then-chief of staff, to contact Stone and Flynn the day before the Capitol incident.

The committee, according to the aides, also intends to provide more details about a meeting Trump had with Flynn and other individuals at the White House on December 19, 2020, just hours before he tweeted to encourage his supporters to attend a protest in Washington, D.C., on January 6 that he promised would be “wild.”

According to several news sources, Jason Van Tatenhove, a former spokesman for the Oath Keepers, intends to give a testimony at the hearing on Tuesday. Van Tatenhove, who has not been associated with the paramilitary opposition group since 2017, is anticipated to speak about the Oath Keepers’ propaganda operations and its radicalization over time, according to NBC News.

There have also been rumors that White House attorney Pat Cipollone, who met with the committee for nearly eight hours on Friday behind closed doors, may give filmed testimony during the hearing on Tuesday.

A committee staff member would not confirm whether Cipollone will speak to the public on Tuesday, only confirming that, like previous hearings, the presentation would be a combination of live testimony and recorded witness interviews.

The aides stated that Tuesday’s hearing will be the committee’s only televised program this week, contrary to prior suggestions that another primetime hearing would take place on Thursday. More information on the upcoming hearing, which is anticipated to be the last “in this series,” will be released next week.
