Here are the winning numbers from Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, which resulted in a $66 million jackpot for the drawing on July 13, 2022.

In the white ball game, the winning numbers were 22, 23, 36, 47, and 63; in the red Powerball game, it was 02; and in the Power Play game, the winning number was 2x.

The July 13, 2022, Powerball jackpot was $66 million, with a cash value option of $37.5 million, as of Wednesday night’s drawing. As more tickets are sold in advance of drawing, the total jackpot could rise to a larger amount.

In the drawing held on Saturday, there was no winner of the grand prize. Each of the 11 players who correctly matched the numbers on the four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000 did so in the presence of an audience. People who correctly predicted four white balls but not the Powerball walked away with a total of $190. That’s why 405 ticketholders won $100 each if they correctly predicted the three white balls plus the Powerball’s three-digit number Totaling $7,000 in prize money, 9,951 people correctly predicted three white balls without also correctly predicting the Powerball.

Powerball Rules and Strategy

Powerball tickets, which cost $2 each, are available in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands. Ticketholders choose five white balls and one Powerball number from a range of one to 26. The Power Play option can be purchased for an additional $1 per play to increase non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or ten times. The Florida Lottery’s Tallahassee draw studio conducts drawings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

The Winners

“In Powerball, there are nine ways to win a prize. Except for the Grand Prize, the cash awards for each prize are predetermined. Prize payouts in California are pari-mutuel, meaning that they are based on sales and the total number of winners “Powerball’s website explains this in detail. As long as no one wins the Powerball jackpot, the prize money will continue to rise. When the advertised jackpot is less than $150 million, the 10X multiplier is only in effect, as stated on the website, when the Match 5 + Power Play prize value is $2 million or less. An annuity or a lump-sum payment can be given to jackpot winners. For those who opt for an annuity, the winner will receive a total of 30 payments over a period of 29 years. Payments increase by five percent each year, according to the website.

Who Has a Chance to Win?

According to the Powerball website, the winning odds are the same in every drawing and the overall odds are one in 24.9. A statement on the website reads, “Your odds of winning remain the same even if more tickets are sold in a particular drawing.”
