The first of Donald Trump’s three wives, Ivana Trump, passed away on Thursday in New York.

The Attorney General is concluding up a three-year investigation into what she claims to be a decade-long pattern of financial misstatements at the Trump Organization, which has its headquarters in Manhattan.

She has claimed that these false representations were used to get more than $300 million in bank loans and tax advantages by inflating and deflating the worth of the company’s properties and assets.

In scores of court papers and hearings held in state and appellate courthouses throughout Manhattan, the Trumps had battled valiantly to avoid being called as witnesses in the investigation.

Attorneys for Trump have argued that there was no systematic number-fudging at the business. Additionally, the defense has claimed that James’ political prejudice as a Democrat is the reason the former president and his family are being targeted, but state and appellate judges have rejected this claim.

The corporation has had vice presidents in Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the two eldest offspring of the previous president.

According to the AG, Donald Trump, Jr. co-manages the business with Eric Trump, controlling its real estate holdings and having control over portions of the annual financial reports that were used to get loans and tax benefits.

The AG claims that Ivanka Trump, who served as the company’s main point of contact with Deutsche Bank, its largest lender, forced false financial statements to be submitted to both the bank and the federal government.
