One of the wealthiest and most successful celebrities in the world, Jeffree Star remains relatively unknown. The YouTube star/makeup tycoon has a net worth of $200 million. His main source of income, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, a giant in the creation of white label and drop-shipped makeup, brings around $15–20 million annually. He reportedly turned down a $500 million L’Oreal purchase deal while earning about $20 million annually.

People who move to states with lower taxes are sometimes viewed with suspicion in California. Auditors have been known to examine social media posts, dental visit records, food bill receipts, and more to determine whether a person actually moved. A warning sign is if a person in California continues to visit their former dentist and veterinarian.

Continued ownership of a residence in California is another major red flag. Owning a house in another state is undoubtedly legal, but the California taxman will complain if you spend months living there while claiming Wyoming as your primary residence. Even worse, California can view you as a part-time resident and demand a prorated portion of your salary.

So perhaps in preparation for the move to Wyoming, Jeffree Star has listed a stunning Hidden Hills mansion. The price being asked?

$19.5 million.

Amazingly, if he obtains the asking price, that will be $5 million more than the $14.5 million Jeffree spent only 15 months prior.

Take a few minutes and watch this video tour. In reality, the house is something else.

Jeffree’s home has 25,000 square feet of living space, 8 bedrooms, and 13 bathrooms on little under 3 acres of land.

There are TWO guest houses, a 4,700 square foot garage that can fit more than 10 automobiles, and a 3,700 square foot barn.

In December 2019, Jeffree paid $14.58 million for the property, around $200k less than the $14.75 million asking price.
