Four males have been charged with indecent exposure at Landa Park

The New Braunfels Police Department recently arrested four men for indecent exposure at Landa Park.

Four males have been detained after a month-long investigation into indecent exposure at a neighborhood park in New Braunfels, Texas, police said. Following a month-long investigation at Landa Park, four New Braunfels males were detained on Friday, July 15, for “inappropriate activities by individuals in public facilities,” according to a police department social media post.

John Scott, an 81-year-old man, was apprehended in Landa Park, according to police. James Kofakis, 69; Ronald Gosset, 66; and Cesar Interian, 37, were all hauled into custody after warrants were issued for their arrests, according to the post. Officials with the New Braunfels Police Department would not confirm the time of the arrests, but did indicate that all four suspects reside in the city.

Some of the remarks made light of the arrests, while others expressed shock and outrage.

Marisa Davis commented on the post, “Wow.” The fact that no one was alerted to this is alarming, and I wish I had known about it before using the bathrooms there.

No juveniles were “discovered to have been involved,” according to New Braunfels police, and no complaints included minors. City officials have yet to react to MySA’s request for information on the number of complaints they have received.

The NBPD said in a Facebook post that the inquiry is part of its ongoing efforts to ensure that the city, especially public parks, remain safe and enjoyable for residents and tourists.

Indecent exposure, a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $2,000, was leveled against the four guys.
